MEYGHAN HILL – (wh)ORE HAuS STUDIOS
After a life changing event former model Meyghan Hill took power into her own hands and founded the now renown furniture studio (wh)ORE HAuS STUDIOS in LA’s Industrial District. Since 2013, Meyghan has distinguished herself as a master in metal welding and marble cutting—a trade she learned from her time spent as an apprentice at a valley machine shop.
As LA’s top furniture and objects design studio, (wh)ORE HAuS STUDIOS holds an impressive portfolio of clientele featuring commissioned pieces at The Clippers Lounge in the Staples Center as well as the legendary music venue The Wiltern Theater. Meyghan’s well-deserved praise can be credited to her uniquely provocative and risqué take on practical furniture—merging contradicting textures like black leather with metal and marble to create elegant pieces.
Meyghan will be recognized as an emerging LA talent and awarded the EDGE Award at the 2019 LA Design Festival coming this June to The Row in downtown. The citywide festival celebrates the rich design culture and diverse talent in LA showcasing the best of the local design scene.
